Q: So how does this actually work? A: It's actually pretty easy to understand - here's our process broken down into five steps. 1) Your league's commissioner signs up for our service. 2) We send him/her an email containing a link to activate our service. 3) When our service needs to be activated, your commissioner clicks on the link and fills out a short form going over the details of the replacement. 4) Once the form is submitted, we send your commissioner an email with the necessary information (website username/email address) to set us up as a co-manager on the team we'll be managing. 5) Your commissioner adds us as a co-manager and we'll take care of the rest. Please allow us 24 hours to accept your league's invite.
Q: Which sports does your services cover? A: We offer replacement owners for fantasy baseball, football, basketball, and hockey leagues. We are working on providing coverage for fantasy soccer and NASCAR league and expect to get them up and running soon.
Q: Which websites are your services compatible with? A: Currently, we provide services for fantasy leagues played on espn.com, cbssports.com, and yahoo.com. However, if you have any other websites you'd like to see us provide coverage for in the future, please let us know.
Q: Does your services cover various scoring formats? A: Generally speaking, yes. We can provide coverage for head-to-head leagues, rotisserie leagues, and points leagues; however, if your league employs a unique, specific type of scoring format, we suggest contacting us before placing your orders.
Q: Can you cover auction leagues? A: Yes we can.
Q: Can you cover keeper leagues? A: Yes, but please make sure all rules regarding keepers are properly explained to us before we're asked to take over a team.
Q: A second owner stopped paying attention to their team. Does your service cover multiple teams per league? A: Yes it does. Once you purchase our service, we will provide coverage for as many teams as necessary for the entire season.
Q: Does your service cover situations where temporary replacements are needed, such as vacations or work obligations? A: Yes it does. In the form your commissioner will fill out, he'll let us know if the takeover is temporary and, if so, how long our service is needed for.
Q: I lost the email containing the link to activate my service. How can I get a new one? A: Just send an email to us at email@example.com containing your order confirmation number and your league name. We'll resend you the link within 24 hours.
Q: Let's say you take over a team and win one of the "prizes" our league gives out at the end of the season. How do we go about awarding you the "prize"? A: We're not allowed to accept any "prizes" your league may award for any type of achievement. We're solely here to uphold your league's integrity and maintain the competitive balance. In the event that our performance does earn some sort of reward, it's up to your league's commissioner to determine how it will be awarded. In these cases, we strongly suggest that your league set up some sort of guidelines for action in your constitution before the start of the season.
Q: If you replace an owner midseason and they haven't paid their league fees, are you responsible for covering them? A: Unfortunately no. Similar to winning a "prize", we're not responsible for collecting or paying the league fees of owners that abandon their teams. Again, we strongly suggest this be covered in your constitution and all league fees collected before the start of the season to avoid any confusion if the situation arises.
Q: Will you read and/or make posts on our league's message board? A: No, we will not. We will also not take part in any voting that affects the future rules or governing of your league. We're strictly there to keep the team we take over competitive.
